Before we stepped in, Torquay Golf Club faced some familiar but pressing challenges. Membership growth had stalled - particularly among younger demographics. Social media activity was minimal, limited solely to Facebook, and lacked structure or strategy. No one within the team had ownership of the club’s digital presence, which meant content was posted inconsistently, often missing key opportunities to engage both current members and potential new ones.
Without a shift in approach, the club risked becoming invisible to the next generation of golfers - losing relevance, revenue from events, and missing out on sponsorship opportunities.
That’s where we came in.
We developed a results-driven strategy to modernise the club’s online presence. We launched Instagram and TikTok to reach younger audiences, introduced LinkedIn to engage corporate sponsors, and took full ownership of regular content creation and publishing. Our content not only showcased the course, facilities, and events - it built a genuine connection with the local community and younger players.
